Rapidswitch: Saw a whole bunch of posts about people leaving them, and despite my repeated requests they won't consider the possibility of upgrading the HDD space unless I'm willing to pay them thousands a month. Leaseweb: Seems to have issues with restarts as well. Giga-International: Seems fine, but waiting a week for a reboot, and seeing the host insult people in a support thread, doesn't make me trust them. The main problem is that most servers seem to have 2 harddrive spots, which limits me to 500GB (2*500GB in Raid 1), leaving me absolutely no room for expansion.

I've been searching for an appropriate host almost nonstop since yesterday, and I think I've run into a wall. Any suggestions people could make about potential hosts would be appreciated. I don't need to have my hand held in terms of support, but rapid response and replacement of failed hardware is key. In terms of hosts that I've looked at, something like giga-international seems almost perfect, but the 10 page thread about their lack of support scared me off.
WEBDRIVE LIMIT BANDWIDTH UPGRADE
I'm willing to start with shared bandwidth (unmetered, as long as the throughput was pretty decent), but an upgrade path to reasonably-priced dedicated bandwidth would be a plus. Right now, I'm stringing together some shared servers from (which is a less than ideal situation for a variety of reasons.) and using in the neighborhood of 500GB of storage with around 4.5TB of monthly bandwidth, but I expect this to increase as promotion of the site increases, so scalability is fairly important. The site is not terribly intensive (simple PHP), so the main concerns are obviously space and bandwidth. Most of my visitors are from Europe, so I would obviously prefer a server hosted in Europe. I'm looking for a dedicated server to host a file sharing/file uploading website.
